Walton's Mango Manor
A small-scale bed-and-breakfast hotel, ideal for the traveling nature lover. Rebuilt after the hurricane of 1932, the hotel features salvaged materials from that tragedy like a banister from the mast of a 19th-century schooner. Additional Information
Arriving visitors require proof of citizenship in the form of a passport or birth certificate. A driver's license is not sufficient. A photo id is required for all persons over the age of 18 when traveling to and within the Cayman Islands. Vaccinations are not necessary.
It is prohibited to bring into the Cayman Islands items including narcotics, firearms, spearguns and live plants.
It is prohibited to return to the US with any plants, seeds, vegetables or fruits unless you have permission in writing from U.S. Customs. This includes any importation of genuine sea turtle products, which is prohibited by countries, including the U.S., who have signed the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species.
Currently, U.S. citizens receive a $400 duty-free exemption when returning to U.S. providing that they are out of the country for at least 48 hours and have not used this allowance within 30 days.
U.S. citizens may make unlimited purchases of crafts made in the Cayman Islands. This includes antique goods (at least 100 years old), original art, foreign language books, caviar and truffles, etc. Payment of duty on these items may be required upon reentry to the US.
For medical assistance, Faith Hospital and Dental Clinic are located on the north side of the island.
There are no nude beaches on any of the Cayman Islands. Visitors are requested to cover beachwear when visiting public places. Shirt and shoes required in most places. Thanks!
